Village of Kaleitsa is located in Troyan municipality, 7 km far away from the town of Troyan. There is a river passing by the village - Komanska river, a feeder of Osam river. The village is home of the famous poet Lalio Marinov Ponchev, also known as Lamar. There is also a memorial of the partisan Jelio, killed in 1944.
