There are two mineral springs and five drillings in the village of Shipkovo. The common capacity of all water sourses is about 62 l/sec. The mineral water is from solphate-potassium-magnesium water group. The water temperature varies from 18°C to 38°C. The treatment is by drinking and by Kinezoteraphy (baths). It cures smomach diseases, gall-kidney diseases, locomotory system diseases. neurological and eye diseases. The treatment is in balneological section with capacity of 1000 people daily. There is an open-air swimming pool with mineral water. In some departmental holiday houses there are pools with mineral water, too.
