  Troyan during the Turkish slavory

During the Turkish slavery the inhabitants of Troyan have been suffering from cruel Turkish power. In about 1800 year the kurdjalies have attacked and sacked Troyan three times, many inhabitants have been kiled. Till 1868 Troyan has been a village municipality. There were town-hall and police station from one armed guard with several zaptiehes. For judicial or administrative jobs inhabitants have been forced to go to Lovech.
