Vrabevo is a village in Troyan municipality. It borders on the villages of Dobrodan, Debnevo, Belish. It combines the opportunities of the lowland and the mountain. The climate is appropriate for growing of all types of saplings that can grow in Bulgaria. As inhabited place Vrabevo is established during the military actions leaded by the brothers Asen and Peter in 1185-1187. It is considered that there has taken place a big exchange of captives in the lands of the present village. According to the historians the name of the Village comes from Rabevo, that is to say captives.
