Established in 1987, total area of 902.2 ha. This is the smallest reserve in the National Park , set up with the aim of preserving the natural habitation of the endemic edelweiss, the venerable beech, oak and fir woods, and rare wild animals like the brown bear, golden eagle and others. Forests cover 63 % . On the limestone cliffs in the high parts of the reserve are growing very rare and endemic plants. Here you can stay in 'Kozia Stena' hut and enjoy the nature and the fresh air!
